Drawing the human body is one of the cornerstones of artistic training and is central to the education at The Florence Academy of Art. The anatomical complexities of the human form help us to improve our observational and interpretative skills. We invite anyone with a passion for art to join us in the model room for 5 weeks. The model will hold the same position for each 2 or 3 hour session. This gives students the chance to make an advanced study of the figure, which is a unique opportunity not found in most figure drawing classes. Beginners and experienced artists alike are welcome to join. Professional feedback will be given on an individual basis in English or Swedish.
We will provide chairs and drawing boards for everyone. Students can help themselves to an easel if there is an empty space 10 minutes before class begins. You need to bring pencils, paper, tape and an eraser.
