In this one-day workshop students will learn how to paint creatures from the sea from direct observation. Students will work from a real life set up that they can see, touch, and smell! American painter Michael DeVore will work alongside the students in order to demonstrate the techniques used to paint the shiny and slippery qualities of fish scales. He will go around to everyone individually to give feedback and advice.
Instruction available in English and Swedish.
Students need to bring their own surface to paint on. Linen canvas sized 30×40 to 40×50 cm is recommended. Paints, brushes, palettes, etc. will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own oil painting supplies.
